JUNIOR FLOWERS 2026

Entries accepted: Thursday October 8, 2026, 7 pm to 9 pm and Friday, October 9, 2026, 9 am to 12 noon.
Articles must not be removed until closing, Monday October 12, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
● All plants entered should be in good condition with damaged and old leaves and blooms removed.
● Flowering plants should be in bloom for judging.
● Buds showing colour are counted as blooms.
● Unless otherwise stated no artificial or dried materials may be used.
● Containers should be suitable and able to hold water.
Prizes: 1st: $4, 2nd: $3, 3rd: $2
CHILDREN UP TO 6 YEARS OF AGE AS OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2026:
1. Gnome garden in a pot using any 3 succulents - no larger then 8"x10"
2. An arrangement including wildflowers, grasses,sticks, twigs, leaves, etc.,
Mounted on or in a toy farm implement or truck. Max 12" x 12"
3. A bouquet of yellow flowers with at least 5 blooms. Use a decorated homemade container.
4. An arrangement of 3 different white flowers. Container decorated as a COW.
CHILDREN 7-12 YEARS OF AGE AS OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2026:
5. An arrangement using plant moss and grasses in a container of your choice.
6. An arrangement of flowers with at least 5 blooms with a container decorated for bees.
7. Pressed flower mounted on a stiff board no bigger than 8" x 8".
8. An arrangement with several pressed flowers and/or weeds mounted. No bigger than 8" x 8".
CHILDREN 13-17 YEARS OF AGE AS OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2026:
9. A Fall Mum arrangement - 3 different colours in a small unpainted pumpkin.
10. Press flower leaves into a picture of something labelled.
11. An artificial flower arrangement made from any materials.
